Rugs and textiles from Gandia Blasco

The Valencian firm Gandia Blasco has created GAN, a new brand dedicated to rugs and to the textile products they offer.

From its first collection, GAN intends to reach the general public with designs of the best signature brands in some of the basic elements of home decoration.

GAN has selected some of the most prestigious designers from different fields to create their first collection of rugs and textiles (duvet covers). Names such as José A. Gandía, Iban Ramón, Odosdesign, Mario Ruiz sign some of their proposals.

The 2009 GAN collection seeks innovation and originality in each of their creations. The result is bold and full of contrasts between the different pieces they have in common, a fresh and youthfull air.

Among some of the designs we must highlight the Etnia rug created by Odosdesign. This rug presents a suggestive tribal drawing that is emphasizes over a black background.

Caleido, a circular rug that from its center plays with geometric shapes, creating a similar effect as if you were looking through a kaleidoscope.

The Champiñones (mushroom) model was designed by José.A. Gandía. Its name comes from the small white circles that invade the rug as if they were heads of small mushrooms in the woods.

Flat from Mario Ruiz is a rug model that breaks the white with a transgressive orange line. A simple design that plays with contrasts to achieve an original and perfect composition for all types of environments.

Within the Nordic Gan assortment we can also find equally unique pieces, such as Bluma from Maria Coll in which geometric forms in different shades of turquoise create a fabulous marine depths effect.

The rugs are made from 100% virgin Hand Tufted wool, while the Nordic Duvet covers are 100% cotton with a 200 thread quality, they are both made with excellent high resistant materials.

These and other GAN products can be purchased in the first textile showroom of the firm, located at Balmes 434 street in  Barcelona
