Chantilly, Victorio & Lucchino’s lace
The Spanish designers Victorio & Lucchino know the touch, texture, shine and the possibilities of whatever textures are stacked in their design studio, waiting for their big opportunity. They work with silks, blond lace, tulle, but as great craftsmen they feel a special predilection for the richness and subtly of chantilly with which they make the most elegant Spanish mantillas. That fabric, which comes from the French city with the same name, has been the starting point for their latest work for the the signature firm Dac: The Chantilly rug

Thus, the luxury of the Spanish mantillas that women reserve for gala events, weddings and funerals, big bull fight afternoons or Easter processions, can now be enjoyed daily in whatever room or bedroom.
Victorio & Lucchino have been able to recreate the proper motif of the chantilly lace, delicate and ethereal, recreating garlands, small coat of arms, leaves or flowers. The work in red (red, black or brown) stands out over the beige background, which gives softness and warmth.

After the Mantón de Manila and Clavel, the designers return to surrender to Andalusia, paying tribute to the mantilla and chantilly.
