LaCucinaAlessi 2008
The new cocina de Alessi, introduced at the recent Milan Fair, is an encouter with new materials, colors and decorations..

LaCucinaAlessi, a design by Alessandro Mendini and Grabriele Centazzo, is charactrized by its curved lines that abandon corners, and geometry, modules of 60 and 90 that add up creating a dynamic undulated kitchen.

With regard to materials, glass is the main protagonist and takes shape offering various work stations divided into anti-stain, anti-slip, and shelving areas. The glass even covers the walls in which we find furniture with geometric textures and shelves with internal 360 degree rotating trays.

This kitchen also stands out due to its respect for the environment because all the materials used to make it are recycable, such as the water paints and the hydro-repellents containers.

LaCucinaAlessi 2008 represents the continued collaboration between Alessi and Valcucine initiated in 2006. The signature firms Foster (refrigerators, cook tops, irons, and extractors) and Oras (faucets) also participated in this project.
