Spring

Spring has come, and nobody knows how its been….

Primavera

This is the revolution, the awakening of life, the principle, the resurgence…Spring has arrived unannounced. They say that after the storm comes the calm, and spring comes to our homes after months of looking through the glass window, a succession of days that have shown us a wide palette of shades of gray.

It all starts the day we wake up in the morning and we observe how the window of our neighbor has flourished, and the color it is wearing, it is the harbinger of the joy of life that is to come. Then the sky turns blue, the trees will show their green, the days will be longer and the sun will start to place itself in our homes for many hours throughout the day. It will be at that time, when the sun illuminates our home, that we realize that everything that began with the illusion of an innovating dream, is now on the “Out” list.

Primavera

The color of the walls has become obsolete. The upholstery of the sofa which shows the printed footsteps of the long winter evening naps and coffee, have lost its texture. The wood shows the wear of the misleading December sun. The bedspread on the bed gives us heat just looking at it. The sun illuminates the hallway, perhaps now its the time to devote an entire afternoon looking for that painting. Those curtains. Oh God! Did I choose those?

Primavera

We go crazy! It looks like an eternity has passed since that first and exciting intrusion into the world of decoration, and suddenly we are find ourselves looking at every corner of our house, to come to the conclusion that it needs a change.

Well yes, it’s true, it’s the moment. The window shops flood our sights with color, silks, flowers, of fresh aromas, of new ideas…

Cotton sheets come as a relief to flannel, this fabric will now be our closest ally to get a clean and fresh moments of rest. In spring, the bedroom becomes pastel, white, beige, pink, celestial or green, and the floral prints will give this room a breath of renewed spirit.

Primavera

All the contrary to the kitchen where textile becomes citrus, with oranges, yellows and greens that will decorate aprons, cloths, tablecloths and mittens.

Primavera

As the contrary to the tendency of white furniture, the upholsteries are presented as acidic, recreating the aesthetics of the 80’s. Fuchsia sofas, oranges, blues…make a nod to pop aesthetics.

Primavera

Flowers, are essential in this season, they will take us to the most beautiful natural landscapes, their delicious aromas and their joyful color will influence our mood, making us feel alive, happy, thrilled and excited of what the prospect that the arrival of this desired station represents to us, in which plans and projects are crammed in the starting position.

Primavera

It’s the time to take the world in our hands and turn our homes into that so desired paradise we dreamed about during the winter. Floral textiles permeate our curtains, cushions…the garden moves indoors.

Primavera

The terrace recovers its star position lost during the winter. The teak or forge furniture now mock the rich varnished woods of our living room.

Fresh colors, flowers, prints, linen cushions.. Are you ready?
