Choosing the exterior of closets
A few days ago we wrote on the potential the interior of a closet offers us. But it is all not only limited to the interior. The aesthetic and functional possibilities that the exterior of these give us can dress up any bedroom.
In addition, different type of door openings make it possible in occasions not to cause any problems at the reduced available space of the closet.
The closets with framed doors keep the traditional beauty, even if it is a modern design. They enable us to open all doors at once and to be able to see completely inside the closet. Moreover, each door can be decorated in a different way, glass, wood..which can convert the closet in a cheerful and fun design. If we opt for a narrow door design, the closet will look slim and stylish.
Sliding doors are the ones that give us the best solutions when to comes to small spaces. Usually we are taking about big doors, reason why the embodied decoration makes them double their appearance. They are widely used in modern aesthetic rooms, decorated with Japanese coffers and crystals.
Folding doors allow us to view the entire interior of the closet without their opening impeding our access, because they remain folded to the side of the closet.
With regard to materials, the window of possibilities is broad in its content. Wood brings classical aesthetic solutions, even though its look is a bit straight, smooth and without any adornments, it can also fit in modernist aesthetics.
Glass brings brightness, it lightens the visual weight that a closet brings to a space, and also makes it possible to give it some color.
On the glass we can adopt attractive shapes or attractive designs such as serigraphs or attractive textures.
Leather can also dress some closet doors, which makes them fit in exotic and natural environments.
The knob constitutes a reference point in a closets aesthetics. Steel, leather, wood…or totally absent, replaced by a thumb notch, a recess in the wood that allows you to enter your fingers to pull from it.
Corner closets keep the geometric beauty. And their aesthetic possibilities are the same as straight closets, sliding, glass, wood or color.
With each change of season, we renew the interior of our closet, looking for new trends, the aesthetic possibilities of the exterior and so many! That we could change the look of our closet as many times as the interior.
