Casa Decor Barcelona 2008
Under the motto “Rumbo Sostenible“, Casa Decor Barcelona, will demonstrate in its next edition a new concept home where the environment, quality of life and health are favored.
This year’s edition will be held from October 9th to the 9th of November, 2008, and will be located in Port Forum.
After Barcelona 08, Casa Decor aims to enforce a proposal that has as its aim the developments between the actual way of life and the one that demands a sustainable world, showing the latest trends linked to a better and more efficient use of energy and materials.
With this initiate Casa Decor intends to show a sensible vision of a new concept home and way of life integrated into a sustainable lifestyle where creativity, comfort, quality and cutting edge design are at hand.
To achieve this, Casa Decor will take the following actions:
- Included in the environments created for the exhibit, will be the latests technologies available for saving energy, and the best water and recycling management systems.
- Encourage the professional participants (architects, decorators,designers, landscapers) to include in their creations those products and materials that contribute to a better use of resources.
- There will be a sector devoted to the disclosure of the shares of companies committed to sustainable development. They will also introduce products that are not yet on sale to the public but that deserve to be recognized.
- To minimize the CO2 impact, they will include mechanisms to allow the maximum amount of materials and products used can be re-used by the public.
At Casa Decor Barcelona 2008, we will be able to see a house designed from creativity and the use of new technologies to minimize dept in the future.
