This natural stone offers the beauty of exclusive prints. It is tough, resistant and durable. It has the disadvantage that it is a porous material that give in to leaks, that may cause stains that will remain forever.

Silestone

Silestone is currently among the materials that have gained the most ground in recent years. It is a synthetic material composed of 94% quartz, and 6% natural resins. It provides a very high resistance to dents and its a material with minimal porosity.  Among its drawback, is its price and susceptibility to scratches.

Corian

It is a synthetic material. Specially tough that allows you to work on top of it ensuring resistance. It is composed of 75% natural minerals and 25% acrylic. It has no pores, which prevents dirt or any liquid to enter it therein hampering cleaning. This material is presented in a variety of hues, all of them quite resistant to light, which will appear unchanged even when exposed to sun daily.

Laminates

Laminates are an economic option but not a long lasting one. Its use in appropriate when we are looking for a temporary option. It imitates the finish of any other material, but the quality is not so good. The material does not react well to high temperatures and humidity,and its prolonged use will be inevitably reflected on the surface with time.

Steel

Hygienic material with a trendy flair, it fits perfectly into avant-garde style environments. It withstands heat and water contact well. It is a clean material with a cold feel, hence, why it is widely used in industrial kitchens and hotels. Its main disadvantage is that it scratches easily, with time, losing its luster. Its price is high.

Wood

Even though it is not the main choice for most it is ideal if we want to recreate natural environments. It comes in a multitude of finishes and colors, which will allow us to adapt to whatever style we want. There are some drawbacks such as its high degree of porosity, and the ease of which it can be scratched. It also needs to be taken care of and cleaned with specific cleaners since we are talking about a wood product.
