Marine inspiration

In the recent edition of the IMM cologne the Verikon Furniture firm presented its two new designs: Lobster and Shelley.

Lobster / Shelley

Designers Oluf Lund and Eva Paarmann, fascinated by crayfish shells, used as a skeleton and shield at the same time, they have found the inspiration they needed to create sculptural chairs.

Lobster

The “shell” of both designs is laminated in walnut wood, while the seats are upholstered in foam and the base plate is chrome-plated steel.
