A classic adapted to changing needs
Literatura is a system of double shelves on wheels designed in 1985 to solve a specific problem: lack of space. A front cart on wheels slides laterally allowing us access to the rear.

Now there is a new version of this shelf: modules of 135 width to accommodate the flat screen televisions, as well as new modules desk.

These new fixed modules are ready to conceal all necessary electrical machinery. They also present new carts on wheels, this time 90cm wide.

With Literatura shelving, designer Vincent Martinez, managed to avoid the annoying second row of books, placing them in a mobile cart that moves laterally over a guide.

In its more than 2o years it has become a classic design. it has become part of the permanent collections of museums such as the Museu d’Arts Decoratives, in Barcelona. It has been referenced in numerous publications including the prestigious “Möbel die Geschichte machen” (Furniture making history), edited by Schöner Wohnen, in its 1986 edition.

Literature has adapted to the changing times: first with its guide (making it finer and less obvious), then with its finishes (now available in 17 different shades), and later with its new measurements: special heights up to 287 cm, to adapt to any space. It also incorporates a new aluminum frame for the glass case.
