Menhir, exterior lighting
The Belgian firm Tal, has incorporated to its 2008 catalog a new version of the Menhir sidelights, thus broadening the range of this lighting collection.

The Mehir sidelights are exterior lights manufactured with a natural stone (marble with shades of gray) and a plexiglass diffuser. The combination of theses materials allows for its use to be very appropriate for installations in places with harsh climates or near waterfronts.
New kitchen faucets from Ritmonio
Quattroequattrotto is the new kitchen faucet from Ritmonio, with a curved pipe and flat sections that create chrome effects.

This faucet is made from a rotating tap and is available in both chrome and brushed chrome finishes.
Butaca Pol
Pol is a large rotating armchair with a high-back to provide more comfort.

The rotating foot is made of steel and is painted white or black. The structure is wood covered with foam. the seat cushion is polilatex HR40 coated with hollow fiber, compacted and aged. It has suspension system using elastic bands.
Box Series
Box is the new collection designed by SerraydelaRocha for Roca.

Within it the designers have made a re adaptation of porcelain to the new aesthetic trends and uses that the market demands.
Architecte Collection
In this 2008 Spring season Roche Bobois will introduce the Architecte Collection which is born from the inspiration of trade furniture of the twentieth century.

The collection consists of a an architecte desk, an architecte storage unit, architecte scupltor bench, typographer furniture, architecte bookcase and a architecte coctail table.
Reinventing iron furniture
Imagina Ierro is a young company that started its journey in the furniture sector just a few months ago.

Its challenge at the beginning of this project was to reinterpret iron furniture, creating something different, with its own style…and without a doubt they have succeeded.
Separating Spaces
Ever since lofts showed up in our cities nearly two decades ago, the comments regarding their usefulness are many. The opinions, many and varied, pro and con, some driving and disparaging…..The loft was born as a new way of life and to it we will dedicate an entire other chapter, today we are only going to focus on something that the loft brought with it.

Open spaces are the cause or the consequence of lofts, but still willing to live in a single space that will cover all our needs, there are tasks that require a certain intimacy. The search for personal space within a shared space, in the absence of walls, requires creativity.
Reflections in gold and silver
The Italian signature lighting firm Ulma presented its Damasco collection at the latest edition of Light+Building.

Damasco is available in ceiling, tabletop, foot and hanging versions. It is characterized by its diffuser glass (available in white or black) engraved in silver or gold with the “Galle” technique. The structure is finished in a matte nickel-plating.
Thousand stripes and thousand colors
Nácara, introduces a new collection and once again, it draws on traditional Indian and early XIX century prints.

This Asian technique involves treating the color of the thread before it enters into the loom and with an almost hand made procedure, achieves textures characterized by the designs of visible stripes in both the front and back of the cloth. This process also allows for washing the cloths with complete peace of mind because the colors do not mix with each other.
Chimneys designed by Paco Rabanne
Bordelet recently presented the new line of “Sabana” chimneys at the International Trade Fair in Moscow.

The line, totally avant-guarde, has been designed exclusively by Paco Rabanne, where the French designer has been inspired by the great variety of African animals, the Savannah.
